We’re excited to partner with North Western Electric Cooperative and NW Ohio Propane to bring tethered rides to the 2026 Day in the Park event.

Touchstone Energy Cold Air Balloon

Explanation of tethered rides and guidelines for riders:

· A tethered ride is when the balloon lifts off the ground, hovers 20-50 feet above the ground for several minutes, but does not launch and fly away.

· Rides are sold on a first come, first served basis and at the pilot’s discretion.

· Passengers must be at least 42” tall.

· Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign the release on their behalf.

· Adults are NOT permitted to hold a child in their arms during the tethered ride.

· All passengers must be in good health and able to get in and out of the basket with minimal assistance from others.

All times listed for balloon activities are approximate. All balloon activities are weather dependent and safety is the number one consideration. Any cancellations or changes to the schedule of balloon activities will be shared on the Chamber Facebook page.


Ride times will be:

7:30 – 9:30am and 6:30 – 8:30pm


Ticket Cost:

$20 – 13 and older

$10 – 12 and under
