Chamber of Commerce Highlights Leadership and Sales Training Program to Strengthen Local Workforce

Bryan, OH — The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging local businesses and professionals to take advantage of its Leadership and Sales Training Program, designed to equip participants with the skills needed to lead effectively, improve performance, and drive business success.

This comprehensive program takes a deeper look at proven strategies for leadership development and sales effectiveness. Spring Fling Happening May 16th, 2026

The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its upcoming Spring Fling Vendor Event, a community celebration bringing together local businesses, artisans, and shoppers for a fun-filled day of shopping, networking, and seasonal excitement.

The Spring Fling Vendor Event will take place on May 16th, 2026, from 10am to 3pm on the Square in Bryan. The event will feature a wide variety of vendors offering handmade items, unique gifts, home décor, and more, just in time to welcome the spring season.

In addition to the vendor marketplace, attendees can enjoy live music from D-Squared , who will be performing on the bandstand from noon to 3pm, adding to the lively and festive atmosphere throughout the day.

The locally owned shops and businesses surrounding the downtown square also offer a unique shopping experience for attendees. Visitors are encouraged to explore the square, support local retailers, and enjoy everything downtown Bryan has to offer.

“This event is a great opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and for the community to support local businesses,” said Erica Noggle of the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce. “Spring Fling continues to grow each year and has become a favorite event for both vendors and attendees.”

The Spring Fling Vendor Event is open to the public and encourages residents and visitors alike to shop locally, connect with business owners, and enjoy a lively atmosphere.

Bryan Area Chamber to Host Annual Chamber Banquet

The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Chamber Banquet on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, bringing together local business leaders, community partners, and guests for an evening of celebration and connection.

The banquet will be held at the Eagles Hall in Bryan, with guests beginning to arrive at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., catered by Grant’s Catering, followed by an evening program recognizing the achievements and contributions of Chamber members and the local business community.

The Annual Chamber Banquet is one of the Chamber’s signature events, providing an opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate community success, and look ahead to future initiatives supporting economic growth and collaboration in the Bryan area.

Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce Announces 2-Day Leadership Training Workshop

Inspirational Leadership and Sales Training

The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a two-day Leadership Training Workshop on January 23rd and January 30th, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Bryan Chamber office. The event is sponsored by Northwest State Community College and made possible through partnerships with the Montpelier Area Chamber of Commerce, Archbold Area Chamber of Commerce, and Mainstreet Edgerton.

This interactive, activity-based workshop is designed for both new and experienced leaders seeking practical tools to motivate employees, enhance engagement, improve communication, and build high-performing teams. Attendees will leave equipped with strategies to assess employee skills, coach for performance, handle objections, and lead with confidence in 2026 and beyond.

The workshop will be led by Rachael Bowling, who brings more than 35 years of experience in leadership, communication, strategic planning, sales, and employee development. Rachael has trained leaders for organizations such as Grainger, Amcor, Dow Corning, Verizon, Procter & Gamble, Sunoco, Progressive Insurance, Lowe’s, Goodyear, Office Max, Wells Fargo, BP, Synchrony Bank, and Fidelity.

Bryan Community Invited to Nominate Master of Ceremonies for Lighting of the Square Celebration

Nominations are Open

The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce is doing things a little differently this year! We are seeking nominations for the Master of Ceremonies for the Lighting of the Square, taking place immediately following the Santa Arrival Parade on Friday, November 28th, 2025.

This special role is open to individuals of all ages who bring a friendly, positive presence to the community. The Master of Ceremonies will help make the event memorable and engaging, including the exciting responsibility of throwing the switch to light up the Square. It’s a wonderful opportunity to honor someone who inspires others, embodies community spirit, or simply enjoys being part of Bryan’s celebrations.

“Every year, the Lighting of the Square is a highlight for our community,” said Erica Noggle, Executive Director of the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce. “This year, we’re inviting the community to help us choose someone special to share in the celebration. Someone who truly represents the heart and spirit of Bryan.”

Anyone can submit a nomination, whether it’s for a longtime community member, a young volunteer, or someone whose positive energy is felt throughout the city.
