These are the winners from our 2005 Holiday Contests that were sponsored by Downtown Bryan, Inc.
The first picture is the winners of the “Misplaced Item Contest” where you had to walk around the square and find the 18 misplaced items in different store windows that did not belong to that store and identify what store it came from. The people in the picture from left to right: are Nicole Marrow and Beth Marrow who won 3rd place and received a $25 dollar gift certificate, Betsy North 1st place winner of $100 gift certificate, and Dominic Mejia 2nd place of $50 gift certificate, and of course me as Executive Director of Downtown Bryan, Inc. who sponsored the contest.
The second contest we had was the “Holiday Shopping Passport” contest. This contest required each participant to go to 15 area merchants and register in their store for the gift they were giving away. They would then get their passport stamped by that store. Once all 15 stamps were collected then the Passport was turned into the Chamber. A drawing was held for each of the 15 individual store prizes and gifts, and then a grand prize winner was awarded a two night stay at the Kalahari Resort and Water Park in Sandusky Ohio.

The individual picture is of Susan Newman of Edgerton who was the Grand Prize winner of the Kalahari trip.
