The Bryan Historic Homes Association was formed
in the fall of 1987 by a small group of old-home owners who were
concerned about the deterioration of older neighborhoods of Bryan.
This group, of all ages and walks of life, wished to demonstrate to
the area citizens that old-home living can be pleasant, economical and
add a dimension to life not easily obtained in new housing.
The BHHA has continually strived toward reaching
the goals outlined in the constitution. BHHA has sponsored several
successful home tours, published magazines featuring Bryan Historical
Homes, established in 1990 the first Historic District named the
Fountain City Historic District and completed the Historic District
Lighting project in 2002.
BHHA is chartered by the state of Ohio as a
not for profit organization. The organization is governed by its
constitution and by-laws.
